The shame is that it was dragged out in full view like so much dirty laundry. None of this is any of our business, and none of this makes either side look good. Unfortunately, stuff like this comes up every so often and usually involves one common denominator.

Your post seems to imply the common denominator here is money, but it is not. It is HONOR. Or lack thereof. You and any other TMF member who doesn't want to be "dragged" into this are free to not follow the post. But since at last count you have 4818 posts of your own, you seem to read every post and pontificate on every subject under the sun. Your choice. That's fine, but I don't care to be back-handedly besmirched on Facebook or any other venue without a chance to defend myself. Ask anybody who knows me.....I speak my piece and let the chips fall where they may, but I never steal from or cheat anybody. In this case, I am mad as a hornet to be woken up at 6AM by a friend who spotted the Facebook slander and alerted me. Until that very moment, I had every belief that I had won, paid for and owned this item, then I learn that somebody is accusing me of "stealing" it. Damn, no matter what the value, if I had done so it would not have been displayed openly for world-wide sale. Look at my website, and tell me, how many such sites show the complete contact information, including home address of the seller? How many sellers offer a complete 100% money-back guarantee on anything that is sold?
This is my "retirement" business that I work very hard at.....it gives me access to endless items to buy and sell, to learn about and enjoy them while in my possession, and to meet some very fine and interesting people. But nobody, and I mean nobody, gets to push me around and talk trash. End of story.

Raphael, you shouldn't have made this public... You should have worked to resolve this behind closed doors, instead of going to a public defense trying to invoke anger. Don had no idea who took it in the first place. So how can you say "why wait this long?" when he had no idea who took it.
