Having had good success with my adjustable feed carriage, I have given much attention to designing one that is somewhat simpler without compromising on quality. I plan to make some which should sell for under $200.00 including a new hardened and polished carriage rod. There will be a couple of improvements too, but it will only fit the Edison Triumph Phonograph (any model). I've already ordered the necessary brass and steel and it shouldn't be long before I can have them available. When I do have at least a couple, I'll report back here with photos and price etc. I know that this is a very specialized item and might not be of interest to a great many collectors, but I at least want to make them available. I like mine!

So I have made five adjustable feed carriages for the Edison Triumph Phonograph which incorporate several improvements over my original model. The new model has a scale indicating the amount of feed retarding
(i.e. 0"-.080") and the feed cam holder can now be installed or removed very easily without tools. The feed cam holder can be left on the machine or removed leaving just the new reproducer carriage sleeve which, by the way, is nickel plated so it looks a lot like the original carriage sleeve. With just the new carriage sleeve installed, the carriage functions just like the original carriage with original sleeve. I am keeping one of the units for myself so I have four available for sale. I will be posting these on the "Yankee Trader" section along with some photos, the price and a little more information.
