I guess Otto must have made an even cheaper copy of the Thorens motor that was a cheap copy of the Garrard 1A.
From my limited experience, those "motors of quality" are anything but quality lol.

While we're on the subject of Pathé' Actuelles, I'd like to resurrect this thread from a couple of years ago regarding the use of surplus Actuelle cabinets for Operaphone phonographs. Seems like a long time ago, huh, Sonny?

Anyone from the board get this?

I was inquiring about it but it has been sold.

The seller said it would not crank / spin.

It does seem like forever ago, John! I still have the Operaphone and it is in the same condition now as it was when I took the pictures asking for help. I put it aside and decided to watch for a tonearm and reproducer and literally forgot about it!

Does anyone want this? I just don't have the time to put into it and won't for quite awhile. I'd rather see someone try to bring it back to life than have it sit collecting more dust. It's free to anyone interested.

My Tudor Art model has the 66, as did the Sheraton onsole hat I once owned.
How about some pictures of that Tudor Art Model? :)

Do you have another view or an exploded parts diagram? I have a similar motor in parts and pieces and it appears that the spring cans require some bushings to keep them properly spaced. I would like to see how the original models were designed, if possible.
thank you
