Yes, the sound boxes look similar, very...
I remember well helping you out with your Caruso, and does it also have a Thorens motor?
A local gramophone collector friend here me this Rolls Voice machine most likely is a Swedish warehouse gramophone. In the past different warehouse chains in Sweden had a line of "their own" portables, where the different parts were imported from Switzerland (mostly), and the gramophones then were put together in Sweden for sale.

In the 1980's a few HMV portables appeared on the market with the Rolls-Royce badge replacing Nipper inside the lid.
We were expected to believe that these were ordered by Rolls-Royce as accessories for their cars, but they were in fact recently "made up" by an enthusiastic amateur.
The Caruso motor is unmarked, but has been identified as a Steidinger.

Now I understand why you started to talk about Rolls Royce lawyers in this thread, I did not know the story about these HMV portables from the 1980s.
Still pretty funny this Rolls Voice portable turned up here a few days after this thread started. Always excpect the unexpected in life....

I have never owned a Rolls-Royce (yet) but I did once own an Armstrong Siddeley and created a portable for it.
The HMV102 which I modified had already lost it's lid transfer panel, so I made a replacement for the A-S transfer.
After I sold the car I sold the portable, making it clear to the buyer that it was not an original accessory.

Going back to the op, your soundbox is same size as hmv no4? I have a Juwell Electro which is a slightly larger copy. Also the back connection to the tonearm it's different from the HMV.
