Yes, we have had contact with him in the past when we were looking for rare parts and he’s definitely a scammer. Wanted me to send money to an outside source and do business outside the forum.

I didn't see all of these posts and had already emailed [email protected]. They actually answered me and I had responded asking for the link to his posting of a Brunswick Album for sale. I since saw all of the members postings so emailed him again and told him he has been found out on TMF and I was not interested in anything he had for sale.

I only get messages from people that want to do my roof or gutter guards. Tom

There's a feature in the forum, just search the member name and declare it a foe. I'm not sure what it means but I'll search, sure it's kind of a protection against getting pms from the guy...
FAQ says If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default. Nothing more, but it's a first line of defence against him. Best it's to report the administrators about these people to remove them.

I just got a similiar message regarding my tone arm and reproducer I was looking for, I'm glad I tried to search here first. Apparently he is still active and using the same MO

I got a PM yesterday from this person. I suspected it was a scam, now I'm certain. Glad I saw this post. Thanks everyone!!!
