In looking closer at the horn and elbow, it appears the horn has been inserted into the original, separated lower end of the original horn - - in other words the small end of one horn, and the large end of a different horn. I could be wrong, but that's the way it looks in the photos.

I think I see a large, faint oval outline on the front of the cabinet. Maybe from a metal tag, or SIGN, given the size of it ?

I sawa that oval too. I emailed the seller about motor pictures and this oval, and any evidence of holes for that star shaped tag that could be there and they say there is no evidence of such a tag. There is another phonograph in the background of one image, maybe they are a collector and know about these things? They stressed it was a nice all original piece.
