I'm not sure what your question is but the bronze (plated / anodised?) backs were used on various EMG soundboxes and AFAIK all later EMG's had nickel plated soundboxes. Are the nickel plated (brass) 4 spring soundboxes really lighter in weight than the "heavier EMG brass 4-springs"? I've never owned two different ones at the same time so I haven't been able to weigh them!

Well at £700 I hope that dampens any thoughts that the Ebay description was correct!
