A useful tonearm for playing lateral and vertical cut records, a feature not so common here in Europe as in America. Is there anyway you can rebuild and test the soundbox to see how it sounds? If the diaphragm is celluloid it may not sound so good after all this time.

It sounded very good when I played part of a record while just holding it.

The whole thing is brass - including the diaphragm.

I will try to create a nice gramophone using it some-time in the future then !
