Hi i want to suggest that you take your machine whether you keep it or not to Cliff Bowling in Castle Rock Washington just across the Oregon border on I-5. You can call him at 503-720-2574 Cliff is who Jerry and all the rest of us collectors in the northwest go to have our machines fix’d and tuned Cliff is very good and very fair on his prices and a really nice guy.
You are much better off getting it fixed and running well whether you keep it or sell it. Selling it in non working order is in my opinion not a good idea and you will be penalized greatly

Thank you for the advice. If I find time, I may do that. Like I said, I'm not looking to make a bunch of money, I would just like to see someone get the machine who will appreciate it.

LOL. I really am limited on my knowledge other than what I have seen online. I know that it needs work and I know that to make it worth anyone's time or effort it would have to be priced accordingly. I was also hoping that someone would offer what they feel is fair to get a sense of the true value, knowing that it at least needs what I described. Do you think that $750 is a fair price? There are also 32 Blue Amberol records that I inspected that seem to be in good condition, and 5 more that I noted with cracks in the near the end of the cylinders that would be included. I also know that the value differs greatly on the subject of these recordings.
