You bring up a very good point, one that I am sensitive to when producing my videos. I just wish there was robust documentation on some of these obscure coin-ops, accessories, etc. that would help me identify the parts more historically accurately that I point out. However, there is precious little real documentation on most coin-operated phonographs!
I appreciate the grace and patience everyone extends to me when I call out this part of that in my video with no real documentation as to what the name of the part originally was!
Now I haven't yet called anything a thingamajiggy, but I guess with a lack of creativity, I could get there!!
