Is it the Schulz-Evler paraphrase played by Joseph Lhevinne? That is a classic of the Gramophone, a real stunner of a performance (and one of the relative handful of records by an important pianist).

Slightly related along the lines of multiple different copies of a song, there's a lot on eBay (not mine) where somebody managed to get all 5 different label pressings of the Home Towners song "What A Funny World This Would Be". It's out of my price range, but as a Fred Hall enthusiast, I found the lot somewhat intriguing, as well as amusing.

I'll link it if anyone is interested.
