I also like how the phonograph itself had to be moved further back on the table to accommodate the length of the newer horn.

Maybe someone skilled at this can place the two side by side on here so we can compare the two.

This is really a great picture of which I also would like to have poster of. Didn't Kurt Nauck once offered a reproduction of a different one by Pathé or another french company? AFAIK it was some French guy listening to Enrico Caruso on his little cylinder phonograph.

The TENHP used to offer a poster-sized reproduction of this, but I don't know if they're still available. The original painting featured a Puck, and was titled "Enrico!" Much like the circumstances surrounding Berliner's acquisition of "His Master's Voice," the new owners asked for a change of talking machine...!

Great job SonnyPhono. It looks wonderful to compare. Thanks George. I thought the original title was "Enrico!". For a minute I thought I was losing my memory. George, maybe you will know if it was just these two variations made. I myself never even knew there were two types.....well, I guess three if you count the "Puck" version also.

As far as I know, the two versions Sonny illustrated are the only variations.

Except for the one with the Amberola 1A sitting on the table...

I will start looking for a good example to digitize and make posters. I think this printed on canvas would look excellent!
