I already had your information.
As far as the button on Rich's picture I have no idea. Have never noticed a button latch on any of the HG's I've seen in pictures or in person. I have 3 of that style
cabinet and none have the button. I can't see any reason for one as the front doesn't drop down like the machines that have the button latch.
The Philips Automatic Telegraph System used Columbia cabinets and motors, there is a picture of one mounted in a GG cabinet and there was an incomplete one in an
HG cabinet at Stanton's a few years ago. If Rich can verify if the front of that HG he has drops down it may answer a question. All this just a guess.
