I saw an XVIII a long time ago in an antique shop with the horn gone and a radio fitted into the space. I asked the dealer what that was about and he said the lady had a really nice house and didn't want to change her front room for a radio, so she had someone fit the radio in where the horn was and was really happy with the arrangement! XVIII's are nicer looking than most radios. Haha!

Interesting a VV-XVIII complete came up on Facebook Marketplace last month here in Canada north of Barrie Ontario. I do not know if anyone on this forum grabbed it. I tried to snag it but it was gone within hours.
Complete with many volumes of period Berliner Gramophone Canada records for $485 Canadian (US $375).
Here are some of the snapshots I kept.

Ken,
I have the mahogany horn from a 130 if that might fit. It is about 10 ⅛" x 15" outside dimensions, and ~9 ¾" x 14.5" inside dimensions of the outer part of the horn. Its yours for shipping if you need it.
Matt
Matt,
Thanks for the offer. Let me measure the cast iron opening. Hopefully you have what I need.
Thanks, Ken Brekke

Ken,
Email sent with pics and measurements. They would have come sooner, but I had to work today. I'll work tomorrow too, so responses may be delayed. I hope my horn is helpful. I have a few other VV-130 parts that may be interchangeable should you need them. Off work next week a lot more days, so feel free to email/pm.
Thanks,
Matt
