you understated the record--the first commercially released double sided record (by a few years). One could only get it with the toy. Outstanding! Did that come with the machine or did you already have it?

I was able to add to my Victor phonograph collection recently. It is the Victor Toy phonograph. It originally sold for $3.00. It also has the record that originally came with it in 1901. For some reason, this one left the factory with the seam of the horn on the top. The celluloid tag is missing. Other than the Holy Grail of Victor horn machines, the MD, I am only missing one to have the complete Victor outside horn models in the collection. You will have to guess which one it is.

Does anyone know of another example of this phonograph with the horn seam on top? There is no indication that it was ever on the bottom with the pivot mount.
