A clean and well-preserved machine. Corner ornaments may have been retouched, and if so, well done. On most bedplates they are worn especially front left.

Very nice late model Triumph E. Not far off the serial numbers from when it went to the F model.

Very nice condition Edison Triumph model E you have found. The model E Triumph was introduced around the Fall of 1910 and was usually equipped with the Edison model O reproducer (2 and 4 minute). Interestingly, your Triumph E has the K reproducer (normally used in angle carriages) along with a carriage adapter to allow the smaller angle carriage reproducers to be used on the later horizontal carriages. The carriage adapter was apparently included with the model E Triumph presumably for using a recorder or the smaller angle carriage reproducers (like the K reproducer on yours). All of the model E Triumphs I've seen (I also own a couple of Triumph E's) have the model O reproducer but there's nothing at all wrong with your setup with the K reproducer. The difference would be in the volume produced by the smaller K reproducer versus the larger model O reproducer. I'll presume that your mandrel rotates freely which is a real bonus since (as Jerry B. mentioned earlier) the pot metal mandrel bearing in the Edison models C, D, E and F usually swells up good and tight resulting in a seized mandrel shaft. Zooming in on your pictures I can see that your Triumph E still has its original pot metal bearing.
Good luck with it and enjoy!
Doug

Price depends a little bit on how badly, quickly you want to sell it. I'd say more like $1100 but if you are not in a hurry start higher and see what happens.
When you do sell, here are some pretty good packing instructions. These are a heavy machine and need to be taken apart for shipping. Good luck!
