Thanks again for the kind comments and help! Here are some pictures of the grill cloth. Thoughts?

Very nice C-19! As for the grille cloth, check the front behind the wood - - it should be a bit darker there, and somewhat lighter in the open areas.

Re: Another New Addition...
Thanks for the hint, George. Based on that suggestion, it would appear that this is a replacement. The material is the same color of green behind the grille as in the open areas. I am going to assume it's been replaced at some point. I am pleased that it was done with cloth of the correct color though.
I took some pictures using a digital microscope of the stylus. Does it look to be in good condition? It needs a good cleaning and I will do that thoroughly when I rebuild it. But aside from that, do these photos raise any red flags for anyone? Thanks again for the help!
Just for fun...here is one of the grooves on a Diamond Disc. You can make out a few of the "hills" and "dales" if you look carefully. I wanted to get a more focused and magnified picture but ran out of time today. I may get some more later.

The diamond point looks to be in quite good condition, no visible wear whatsoever. So if it rides the grooves correctly - try it on an invaluable record - you should be quite safe for years on end. As regards to the cloth, textiles over 80 years old, particularly this thin, are almost certain to be non original. Yours at least looks the part. Far better than bodged up or torn originals I've seen.
Well, but not overly restored machine. Something to hold on and treasure. Thanks for posting.
I either don't have the money nor the room for such a machine, so I have to rely on people like you posting images and telling all about it. But I'm jealous. Here in Europe the climate isn't that kind. You still have regions where you can find beautiful machines for an affordable price. Over here anything slightly interesting will add a zero more to what you pay. I would not be able to get an HMV 163 (the equivalent of a Victrola Orthophonic) for less than 1,500 Euros. Via Craigslist you can still buy the odd Credenza for around 100 bucks. They both might need another 2 to 300 investment to get them up to scratch, soundbox overhaul, new main springs etc, waxing and polishing, but still there is a big gap.
