It seems that almost anything can be copied in the Indian sub-continent. My father, who worked for Royal Ordnance, was seconded to the Pakistan Government in 1960/61. Whilst there he saw replica Lee-Enfield rifles being made near the Khyber Pass. They were certainly accurate copies. Every one bore the same serial number as the original Lee-Enfield which the craftsmen were copying!jamiegramo wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2026 11:06 am I still suspect this machine comes from India..... more likely they are being copied in India and made this machine up.
