I was just about to say this. For some reason the shop has unscrewed it from the lid, which is why there is damage on the side of it. I'm presuming they have done this as I found the original screws in the needle cup. Not sure why

Rank stupidity? :monkey:

I always laugh out loud whenever I see a portable or table model gramophone on Ebay with the lid fallen right back making an angle with the motor-board of about 160 degrees. A lot of vendors are clearly thinking to themselves "Wow, look at this baby!" Meanwhile I'm thinking "What happened to the lid? Why is it broken? Ignore!" :lol:
