I can only agree with everyone else: great machine and congratulations on the restauration. You've really done a great job there. I envy your skills and your patience to take the time to get it right. Bravo!

Well Zeppy what can I say, It looks GREAT and I agree that it is nice to see something considered to be having one foot in the grave so to speak brought back to life and allowed to sing again. I am glad that I was able to loan you my VTLA motorboard for a pattern for such a nice project and your Dad did a nice job in recreating it.

How many years ago wss that? Feels like ages. And thanks for use of your board. Made Dad's work a little easier (don't want him to get bored in retirement). Were you able to salvage your VTLA? And thanks again everyone for the kind words. I really was trying to make it as authentic as possible, and it's nice to get compliments from those "in the know." Gives a little encouragment to move onto the next project, which you can actually see on the floor next to the VTLA in some of the pictuers.

I believe that was about 2-3 years ago, As for that particular VTLA, I have since decided to part it out, but after seeing your.....nah, its in pretty bad shape so if anyone is out there needing something specific for their VTLA project, let me know. Congrats again Zeppy, keep up the good work!

Wow Zeppy!
You did an excellent job. I've always liked the VTLAs with the early frieze (and it also being an Oak case doesn't hurt either!) Thanks for sharing!
