Imagine if you bought a trademark machine with the record on it. It would be like getting the phonograph for free!

This combination must be even rarer than the disc itself. Just before the first trademark machines reached Germany in late 1897/ early 1898, Joseph Berliner bought up all unsold Kämmer & Co. gramophones and 5" discs still remaining on the market.

Makes me wish I didn't toss all my 5" Berliner discs that last time I moved (just kidding! :D )
