Thanks to all for your answers. I bought it in Madrid two years ago, they said to me that always it had belonged to the same family. It works perfectly. Do you know where I can obtain needles sapphire for Bettini?

thank you all for your answers, I bought this phonograph 2 years ago in Madrid, always belonged to the same family, I never could get are used needle Bettini spider to the player.

While searching for disc phonograph recorders today, I came across this. It's not quite the same, but the basic idea for the turntable drive mechanism seems similar.
Perhaps yours is an earlier version, or it's simply the same apparatus that was modified to suit an earlier model phonograph than is shown in the patent drawings?

Gianni Bettini was a famous tinkerer who came up with all sorts of phonograph gadgets to sell. The whole thing might be his doing, not just the reproducer.
