Loading takes forever here too. I wonder if it could today be a more general problem. My yahoo mail seems paralyzingly slow too...

It's been mostly sluggish for about a week now. Sometimes, the board won't come up at all, and I get a timed out message.
I noticed the other day that when I click on the forum's main host page -- http://talkingmachine.info/ -- I'm automatically taken to that @#$^&%$ Webring hub page. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the problem.

I too have gotten the web ring hub page 3 times in the last week, although I don't know how long it's been going on since I've only been on this forum for about a week. I thought it was some kind of intentional periodic redirect for advertising or something. lol
