The bidding just closed, can you believe that this went for $270.00!! There are some crazy people out there. Or more likely just ignorant.

I'm sure it was some poor schmuck who had no idea and thought he was getting something special. Was it advertised as an edison? Shame on those auctioneers if that is the case. I guess due-diligence should be applied.

here is one that is coming up for auction in OH. Looks even more modern than earlier. Looks to have a cd player. At first I thought, who in the world would do this to an edison. Then I looked at the listing and it said "modern radio in the shape of edison phonograph" that is how to advertise. Naaaa fake. lol

You can tell those are reproductions. The original came with an 8-track player
