Welcome to the forum. This machine has an small accordian type arrangement underneath to accommodate movement of the player drawer but yes, the horn is fixed. Believe Columbia installed players in a number of different pieces of furniture. I remember seeing a photo of one installed in a small piano.

Nice job antique1973. Many machines just need that TLC to bring them back to presentable. I recently did a junked Edison B19 - its on the forum somewhere several weeks back - this was an Ebay diaster which I bought purposedly as my last rescue. Here I am again right back in it.........cheers

According to an ad this machine is the "Regent Jr." - the Baby Regent was a smaller machine more like a parlour center table. I've got a Princess which is a small machine more like a plant stand
