The white background effectively highlights horn and machine. Batman would purchase a horn like this.

Hi
I found this horn in a collection in Melbourne, it just sat on his floor. Every time I went there I asked if he would sell it to me, it was offered to me for $1500.00 which I thought at the time was a bit expensive. Eventually I bought 3 machines in one go from him, all G&T an Ionic, Sheraton and Doric the horn was included in the deal. I coveted this horn for a few years and now it's mine.
George thanks for the brochure copy, If you ever make another book you are very welcome to photograph any of my collection.
Estott, Thanks for the advert copy, It is nice to have this information.
Valecnik, The 12 panel cygnet ad a Triumph transfer, but I dont know if it was original, probably not. I was told by an Australian collector that these were a range of coloured horns that were made on behalf of the Edison company here in Australia, I will have to research this a little more and and add it to a post.
Regards Marcel

Hi Alex
No I have never tried to fold the horn up, I have always been worried that it may crack. I will try to record the Triumph over the weekend and load it onto YouTube.
Regards Marcel

I'd also be very hesitant to try folding it. It probably worked fine 100 years ago but now you could well damage it.
