My W-250 has a non-working (at the moment) Duncan stop and you don't have to manually shut it off, you can still set the auto brake, it's just a little different, but it works just fine.

We can't get them here in Australia for under $1000. Now that makes the $300 deal seem like a cheap machine...

There is such an available inventory of C-19/C-250's (and this applies to any common machine) that condition becomes everything. It is almost as easy to find a pristine unrestored example as a less-than-perfect unrestored example for low money if one just takes the trouble to look.
