the picture brought tears to my eyes!, because i only have about 20 cylinders and would kill for a bulk buy of cylinders like that and also because arthur collins is also my favorite artist yet i have only found 2 cylinders by him (one by him(preacher and the bear) and one by collins and harlan(reed bird)).
seriously though, great find!

If this happens very often, I'd suggest something like this...

It was a great haul and there's lots to uncover still, there are still 16 more banana boxes on my front porch I haven't even brought in or looked through yet. So far, I've found lots of super clean 2 and 4 minute Indestructibles with some very nice titles and artists, an abundance of my favorite Arthur Collins, for example. A handful of 5000 series BAs. A nice group of Christmas cylinders, mostly BAs so far. Several dozen US Everlastings in both 2 and 4 minute format, many in nice original boxes and even a good number with correct lids, you don't find those much. I came across a number of BAs with their original boxes, tops and record slips that might very well be NOS after looking carefully, these appear to have that faint white powdery stuff on them that I remember hearing indicates "new". They certainly look it. So that's it so far, I've still got thousands more to go through which is the prefect thing to be doing today here in NY, it's already rather hot outside!

I imagine some of this you will put up for sale yourself. let us know if you ever do.

Stuff was selling at gunfire pace and most of it very cheap. I ended up having to hire two guys with a truck to deliver the stuff I couldn't shoe horn into my wagon to me, but it was worth it. I came home with a gorgeous C-19, a really nice mega horn, probably a couple thousand cylinders and another 28 wooden crates full of mostly diamond discs. It was amazing. I'm still in awe of today and I've barely looked through any of it, but lots of fun stuff in what I've gone through so far! Here's what my car looked like after I'd managed to pack all the cylinders up.

Most of this kind of stuff only comes up in handfuls at a time now. Now you have a HUGE collection which will keep you entertained for years to come.

Sean

As you sort through your new collection and find duplicates I would be interested in 2 min or 4 min Christmas cylinders if you wish to make any room.

I am willing to pay fair price

I will be selling stuff, but it's going to take some serious time before I'm ready. Locating copies / duplicates and checking condition, takes etc takes forever! I'm slowly getting things done, but this is more than likely going to be a fall / winter project. Today, we've had heavy rain and it's so humid out, that I spent most of the day cleaning diamond discs and simply enjoying listening!

I'll be sure to let folks know when I'm going to sell stuff, I might even do a list in the YT section when I'm ready. I have a list of requests and I've added yours to the list, Bruce, but I haven't seen a lot of Christmas stuff yet that I already have, but you never know. I did find two mint copes of "Santa Claus Hides In Your Phonograph" on Diamond Disc, but I'm not ready to sell one yet!

Holy cow! Were you able to see out of your car to drive?

That kind of thing only happens in my wildest dreams... Nice job!
