When you get that Radiola 28 working you'll be surprised at how peppy it is. I will never forget when my cousin and I first got a Radiola VIII cooking for the first time. We were both amazed. And we were also amazed at the amount of fussing necessary to service the " catacomb" circuit that is the trademark of the Radiola Supers. You'll see inside what looks like a can into which the tubes insert. That's the infamous " cat" . RCA didn't want the local service man mucking with it: they recommended sending it back to the factory for repair, an option which hasn't existed since about 1932.

Great looking machine. Just too bad that they didn't do mirror image veneering.
