The pictures may be misleading there, mine does not have a raised motor board. No, mine was the one markes as "Walnut". The one left from it was the ebonized Oak. Mine looks very close to the American Walnut sample in the Victor Data Book, but I was suspecting Magogany because of the wood grain. Looking at it closely, I think it may have been re-amalgamized excessively, because the finish looks pretty thin in some areas, and a couple small runs in others. They were a maroonish brown with the Nipper logo in gold on the front with a gold pull ring on the spine. Hope this helps.
