Hi folks,
I have collected data from over 250 Chippendales, and will continue to add to my research!
As I've mentioned before in the past: Thank you all for your help.
One of the "offshoots" of this project led me to another related project:
The Edison "Electric Automatic Stop".
If you didn't see George Paul's announcement of the article I wrote for the Antique Phonograph Society, I encourage you to check it out, here:

Best,
Fran

Hi folks,
As always, I'd like to thank everyone for their time and effort in providing me (and by extension, the entire collecting community) with their information.
I urge those who have contributed to my research work to notify me, via PM or email, to give me permission to acknowledge them for their contribution(s) in the final published article(s).
Thank you again,
Fran

Hello kpreed, and Welcome to the forum!
Thank you for your contribution to my project, but I need a bit more information from you if you would please take the time.

I have highlighted what I require:

What is the actual wording on the medallion?
6. Record Storage:-Shelves
7. Cabinet Wood Type: -Mahogany
8. Duncan Stop?:- unknown
This was an electrically operated brake that was included on the earlier C 250 (for a limited time), or it could have been installed as an accessory kit to certain Edison Disc Phonographs by a dealer, or owner. To learn more about this feature, see my article here: http://www.antiquephono.org/edison-auto ... tric-stop/
9. Dealer Tag:- None
10. Original Dated Sales Receipt/Shipping Documentation, etc. :-none

You can observe the governor by removing the turntable on your machine (remove the reproducer first -- be careful that you don't set the reproducer down somewhere on its stylus, I lay them on their side.
