Wisconsin collectors: February 20, 1997. I think some collectors here are familiar with this couple? I believe they go by the handle “AudioAntique” here?
I think Edison was born a little before that...

Yes, and I think that Edison would be amazed that many of his own inventions would have preceded his birth!
The house built in 1882 and lit with the world's first Edison hydroelectric system and central station is still reveling some of its secrets. The latest being the original Bergmann lighting fixtures that still remain in operating condition. (See
The Antique Phonograph, June, 2020.) This historic house museum features some of the earliest electrical technology of the 1880s that the public can appreciate. (Visit Hearthstone's website for more:

1896 Victrola? That’s like a whole decade before they came out! I’ve heard of 1904 and 1906 Victrolas but never 1896. That’s like Berliner Hand Wind era.
