Just some pics of the parts I have acquired for the project and a test fit of the pieces before some clean up work. I started on re-attaching some loose pieces of veneer on the edges of the motor board. I have had a 3D printed tone arm bracket as I am still looking for this piece but the temporary unit will suffice until the correct one arrives. A little cleaning with some Kotton Kleanser and the motor board looks better. The new motor runs very well and hopefully get to test the unit with a few Mills Brothers tunes this week. I am not sure what was on the feet of the unit but if anyone has info on what the VTLA was supplied with, It would be much appreciated.

Everything looks good to me except the tone arm gooseneck. It's assembled correctly in the photo that shows the bracket clamped to some wood. I also like the old turntable felt rather than new felt. The VTLA is an historic piece. Doesn't it make you feel good to bring it back? Jerry Blais

When I got most the parts in I was kinda of a hurry just to see if they all fit right (the pics on in the wrong sequence). You are correct on the goose neck as when I connected the spare reproducer onto the arm (clamped table pic), it was in the wrong orientation so I switched it around. I hope to hear some music out of it this week and maybe post a sound bit. Jerry you are completely right as I find getting this unit back to its original form is far better than being used as a wine rack.
