Clay,
That's a good looking Vic III. The restoration looks great, and the machine looks like it came from the dealer. The Columbia AH in the background looks good, too. Is the elbow on your Vic III an aluminum reproduction? If so, Ron Sitko carries a nickel plated brass one, made exactly like the originals. Nice machine.

Thanks for the tip Harvey. Yes, it is an aluminum one. If I don't find an affordable original in a reasonable amount of time, I will check out Ron's. I am not all that happy with the aluminum one's fit.

Was the wool felt pre-cut or self stick backing? Just curious. 100% WOOD FELT DOES LOOK MUCH BETTER IN MY OPINION.

Clay,
The Victor III looks great!
A red bow and a little gift tag and you have yourself a nice little Christmas gift from you to you!

No, yard goods. But trimming it (with a single edge razor blade) is not hard once you get the knack, and I use some 3M spray glue that works great.

Clay,
I have to second Harvey's recommendation of Ron's elbows. I got one from him for my Vic I after I had purchased one made like yours (likely from the same dealer). The quality on Ron's is superior. I sold the aluminum one on eBay and got most of my $ back. Ron's are about the same price or lower to boot. I still would like to find an original elbow and crank, but I like Ron's until I can find them.

Thanks Garret. Considering what a wreck it was in the beginning, I am pretty pleased with the way things turned out.
