I know of a fellow collector who has passed away that made many of these. I wouldn't buy one just because of that. It could be one he made?

My friend, the late Ken Blazier of California, was a completist. He had one of every model and every variation of every model. He had every external horn Edison in mahogany, including the Fireside and Gem. Those were the toughest to find, he told me. Imagine paying extra for a mahogany Gem?
