Thank you for pointing out that the angle of the sound box is wrong. It seems that this was the main cause of my problem. After raising up the back bracket (as illustrated in the first photo), the angle of the sound box was corrected and the sound distortion is gone from almost all records.estott wrote:It might be possible to make this work if the back bracket was raised up higher and the angle of the soundbox corrected.
