Same here! It is also the only Victor machine that I own!

I would have to say these Victrolita's are nice little machines, I have the early VV-IV and VV-VI and they also put out great volume. The only downside, is there is no lid to dampen the surface noise from the records.

At the moment, I'll say my Victor E, as it's just so charming…….

Of course, my VV-IX is nice (and it's also the first machine I purchased myself)...

I really can't pick one favorite Victor machine, so I'll go with my most unique, the Louis XVI Period Model I bought last year at an auction. Not only do I love the looks of it even though it's gigantic, but it's electric motor operates quietly and smoothly. Sounds pretty nice too once I finally got around to properly rebuilding the #2 reproducer.

Ever since reading Bob Baumbach’s “Look for the Dog”, the Type “B” Victor has always been my favorite Victor machine. Beauty, Grace, Small Portable Size, Rarity, “TradeMark” Status, what’s not to like? I have owned a couple of these thru the years, and the E.R.J. one seen here, is currently my favorite “Victor” in my collection.

That being said, if I can find a 19" x 11.5" all brass Victor screw end front mount horn, I believe that this Mahogany Victor Monarch Special, which I was exceedingly fortunate to acquire this past June at Union, will become my favorite Victor machine.

My hands-down favorite is my Credenza, Carlos. He's not by any means a collector's machine, as I had to re-do pretty much everything, including the finish, to make him decent again -- but what a player! Second would be Chuck, a not-very-special 1920 XVI, but by far my best-sounding player for acoustics. I love my XVIII (D'Zweet, if you must know), because she's purty, but neither she nor Eldora (guess what she is?) get played all that much.

If I had one, a Type B Victor would probably also my favorite machine.

Of the Victor machines I own I like my L-door VV-XVI the best. It plays well, sounds good and looks good too.

These 2+ spring Victrola's do sound great, and can be a work horse. One of the reasons that I like my VV-IX, it is the later (1918) model and if something should break, a part is easier to find and the back brackets are not pot metal like some of the later machines. I would love to own a external horn Victor, but they are out of my price range at the moment.

Choosing a Victor Talking Machine is always difficult, all are very appreciable, but I think the statement would be rare Victrola VV-330 but I like my Vicror R, entry model in 1902, only $ 15.00, I think beautiful in this picture he is a retelling with Nipper for a book on icons representing brands Victor.
