i'm fascinated with the longevity of the EMI machines they made machines right into the early 1960s and for the oversea's commonwealth countries (and former) even longer probably due to the lack of an electric grid system in these countries there are even rumours of portables beeing sold in the 1970s in countries like south africa, india, hongkong, a.o.
imagine these machines in the time that the beatles where at their highes point and beyond
oh well rumours are just that, rumours facts are better

Hello folks, this engine is destroyed, you have suggestions for a different type of motor that can be used on this machine might be difficult to make things fit. please come with suggestions

I have just come upon this Italian Columbia record sleeve, and the Model 11 pictured bears more than a passing resemblance to your 210. The Model 900 also pictured looks particularly interesting......

See there, it was fun, the No. 11 looks quite similar to mine, possible there was a separate number series for europe.
