If you run into Wayne Holznagel in Mitchell, give him our regards. He is a great guy and always enjoyed our phono adventures.

I'm traveling with Jerry Blais and took some pictures of the first morning of our trip. This covers our ride east on I84 following the beautiful Columbia River. We drove from Portland Oregon to Pocatello Oregon today. These pictures are all 70 mph pictures from the car so forgive the blur here an there. A great but exhausting 700 mile day.

We are currently in Limon, CO which is about an hour east of Denver. We've driven over 1400 miles so we're over half way to Union. We loaded a Columbia Viva-Tonal yesterday (seemed like 275 pounds) and today we picked up a Victrola 10-50 and a Credenza for a buddy in Tennessee. The 10-50 must weigh 400 plus pounds and the Credenza around 250 pounds. Stan did a great job loading. He may not look like much but don't mess with him. The trailer is about 80% loaded. The contents include: two Credenzas, VV-XVII, Victrola 10-50, Victrola 8-8, Diamond Disc B-375, Asian decorated Brunswick, Victor VI, three stacks of horns, and a tired little VV-XI. All the uprights are pre-sold and on their way to new homes. Dan is dealing with a slow network but hopes to have photos soon. Jerry Blais

Here are some pics of us loading a Victrola 1050. What a monster of a machine and it isn't even for any of us on the trip!

I helped push up the ramp too, but I was asked to take the pictures (lucky me!)...

We also loaded a Victrola Credenza which I now think of as a rather small light machine.

Just a few scenery shots from the Columbia Gorge, Eastern Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. All since Friday morning and I am posting this Saturday evening.
