I thought I might as well get in on this too. Me and my Edison Disk C 150.

Here is a picture of me I had taken five years ago when I was 55. I grew the pork chops just for the picture.

Phonoboy... If you'd post your address, I'd send you some of my old jeans.

You might need to gain some weight, wear a belt, or both. Jerry Blais

Be glad he has on pants. With the cost of this hobby, you sometimes have to make drastic choices. Purchase new pants? Purchase a new phonograph for the collection? Priorities, priorities! Jerry, is that an older photo of you with Edison? Nothing is in a sling. Wes

Here is a picture of me and Tom Edison! This was taken about 10 years ago at the home of Ray Phillips. We had one of our Golden State Phonograph meetings at his home, and had fellow collector Nestor Guzman's daughter, who is a photographer, take all of our pictures with "Mr. Edison!" I think Scott and Denise Corbett provided the clothing, and of course Ray provided himself as Thomas Edison, and the original tinfoil phonograph and Edison portrait! He makes a great Edison! What a happy memory was created for all of us who had our pictures taken that day. And what an honor to have a photo taken with one of the greatest lifelong phonograph collectors extraordinaire--Ray Phillips. A true gentleman!!

Oooops. I forgot to add that I have that photo of Ray and me displayed in my phono room next to 2 replica tinfoil machines which Ray had manufactured.

Yes. Restoring Hamilton Electrics was my career up until I retired a few months ago. I also wrote the book on them (
The Watch of the Future).
Wow. That's what I call having an interesting job! My envy is now at full stretch!
Congrats also to everyone else: very nice and amusing pictures here!
