Thanks for finding the thread, George! I was posting in haste from my hectic office and I didn't have time to find the original thread.
At any rate, the factory was located in a residential neighborhood and since the original post, I've located an article from the Albany Evening Journal showing one wall left of the factory after the fire, which happened at about 7:30 in the morning on a weekday at a time when people were heading to work and it was apparently quite a sight. I can only imagine the smell. Homes nearby were damaged as well from the heat. When the holidays are over and I have a little time to play with photo editing, I will see if I can clean it up a bit and post it here, but the contrast is lousy and you can't see the photo too well.
