I would say that its almost 100% that the record is electrically recorded. That kind of bass isn't even on edison acoustics, it is on the electrical versions though. Too low an too much thumping sound to be acoustical . I have a few early Okeh records and when I played them they also sounded like this even though the labels didn't say they were, although now that I think of it it might have been those records that had an "E" in a circle on the label which took to suggest it was electrical recorded.. Maybe like victor they were putting out electrical records for some time before announcing that process to the public? And 26 is surely a time period in which all that was going on.
