As Loudbass says, no records survive of how many of each model were made, but it has been estimated that the total production of all EMG models was about 1500 machines, so yes they are rare!

In 1930 Ginn left EMG in circumstances which are explained in Frank James's book "The EMG Story". He then went into opposition as Expert Handmade Gramophones, and these machines are if anything rarer than EMG's.

Somewhere on this forum is a link to a website listing the known surviving EMG external horn models, but so far as I am aware no such research exists for Expert machines. Some owners are secretive about what they have, so the full survival rates may never be known.
