I noticed you had one of those rare 2 minute Blue Amberols in the Mexican series on the mandrel.I've heard of them,but I've never seen one.edisonplayer

Just a little friendly advice, if I may:
NEVER carry your Standard by the handle on the lid! Always carry it by the base, as the lid or handle can fail (if you forget to latch the lid properly, for instance), and the Phonograph can come detached, dropping to the ground and becoming severely damaged.
The lid handle -- in my humble opinion -- was more of a device to lift the lid off of the Phonograph, as opposed to carrying the machine for any distance.
