What Standard models were available in a glass case like this?

These cabinets with glass lids were manufactured by Hawthorne & Sheble, and offered for any model Edison or Columbia. The buyer let the company know what type of machine was going into the cabinet, and the company cut the proper size hole and provided an extension for the crank. In this manner, virtually any model is "correct." However, these cabinets were phased out around 1901/02, so a later machine wouldn't be quite cricket. For instance, a Model D Standard might fit into the cabinet pictured, but it would be a bit anachronistic.

Thank you very much for posting these pictures Jerry. We couldn't make it this time and we enjoyed seeing what the show was like.

I picked up this cool wall mounted cylinder cabinet while I was there. Cool piece. Picked up some of the French 2 min Exison records as well. Nice seeing and talking to everyone again.

I like the cylinder cabinet and have been thinking of a solution for myself.
For those that use this style that utilize pegs to hold the records, what do you do with the record cases?
Are they stored elsewhere?
