I guess how much paper you need depends on the size of the horn you are covering and whether you are using it inside and out? I think I used double that amount for the Wilson horn. Anyway, I'm glad you tracked it down and would be interested to see your result.

that's fess williams on hmv is it not? Do you have a indian pressing or something? I hear no crackle and after pulling my E copy from the shelf I'm just amazed by the sound of your record never mind the machine!

Yes this is an HMV pressing from the original Victor matrix. Not sure where it was pressed but it does seem to be in extraordinarily good condition.

this and milenberg joys by mckinney's cotton pickers are probbably my favorite hmv jazz records!
