Edison DD 51856. One side is "Billy Richardson's Last Ride" and the other is "The Miami Storm". Both are excellent songs and were also dubbed onto BA's. If you like the folky bluegrass kind of music then you'll love this record.

Re: Railroad Or Train Records
No bluegrass on DD's, none whatsoever. Not to be automatically conflated with any mountain (style) music.
The first disc of this well produced set (all from 78's of the 20's and 30's) has a bunch of train (and ship) disaster themed songs in it. https://www.amazon.com/People-Take-Warn ... B000ULQV20 - It's good.

Re: Railroad Or Train Records
This might be my favorite railroad song:
Lasses' Blues (Originally [n****r] Blues)
Words and Music by Leroy "Lasses" White
Verse 1: Oh! the blues aint nothing, Oh! the blues aint nothing,
But a good man feeling bad,
Oh! the blues aint nothing but a good man feeling bad,
Oh! that's a feeling That I've often had.
Verse 2: You can call the blues, you can call the blues,
Any old thing you please,
You can call the blues any old thing you please,
But the blues aint nothing but the doggone heart desease.
Verse 3: When a man gets blue, when a man gets blue,
He takes a train and rides,
When a man gets blue, he takes a train and rides.
When a woman gets blue, she hangs her little head and cries.
Interlude
Verse 4: Oh! yonder comes, Oh! yonder comes,
The train comin' [rollin'] down the track,
Oh! yonder comes The train comin' [rollin'] down the track,
To take me away, but it aint going to bring me back.
Verse 5: Oh! when I die, Oh! when I die,
Honey, Honey, don't you wear no black,
Oh! when I die, honey, don't you wear no black,
'Cause if you do, my ghost will come sneaking back.
Verse 6: I'm goin' to lay my head, I'm goin' to lay my head
Down on some railroad line,
I'm goin' to lay my head down on some railroad line,
Let the Santa Fe try to pacify my mind.
Interlude
Verse 1: Oh! the blues aint nothing, Oh! the blues aint nothing,
But a good man feeling bad,
Oh! the blues aint nothing but a good man feeling bad,
Oh! that's a feeling That I've often had.

Al Bernard's version is my favorite, but here is the Billy Murray version (poor quality DD recording)
