Not a recording horn
per se (that was a matter of the fitting of a reproducer or a recorder to the instrument), but certainly an 'exhibitor'-sized horn. Could be fitted to anything, but an Edison 'Concert' or a Columbia 'Grand' of some kind comes to mind.

The problem with the electrified Cheney is that a typical electric turntable doesn't have enough torque to deal with the weight of an acoustic arm.
