I have learned a lot about fellow forum members from these posts. Not all good. All I wanted to do was sell a decent machine. At least I can show I identified it correctly as a B1. Note the pic.

I stand corrected. Thank you for showing the serial plate. I wasn't sure what the right terminology for these machines was, and I am always happy to learn something new. These are quite nice machines and I hope it finds a good home!

I have two of these. One is identified like yours as a "B1", the other simply as a "B". Maybe others can comment on whether some might have also been stamped "1B". I think though it's pretty common among collectors to call them a "1B"
