I checked the reproducer last night and found out the reproducer is a Mobley as it is engraved on the back of the reproducer. The only way I knew it. I have never seen a Mobley reproducer and don't know a thing about them. It will definitely need to be rebuilt but I am a bit hesitant in doing it myself. Also, does anyone know the proper way to repair a horn like this. It is composition rather than metal?

Your Birthday just keeps getting better. Congrats on the Mobley. Definitely a hard to find reproducer. Re: the rebuild on it, I'd suggest contacting Wyatt Markus-- Mica Monster. He does excellent, meticulous work.

being totally ignorant on the subject, could someone please fill me in on what makes a Mobley Reproducer so special (didn't even see much on the internets).
Thanks in advance

I’ve seen the ones made for cylinder machines but not disc machines. Interesting.
And here I thought my $100 VV-50 pawn shop find was good....
